WP EasyClone Review – WordPress Website Backup & Migration Plugin
WordPress is one of the widely use Website Building platform in the World. Is a wonderful Content Marketing System ( CMS) which make building website, blog, funnels a lot easier. Personally, I like it a lot.
Due to its popularity, it also makes it easy to be attacked by hackers. So making a backup is one of the ways to ensure if anything happens you will at least have a working copy to use and minimize the downtime and lost.
In the market their a lot of Backup Software from free, affordable and premium. Most of the Free has limited function and sometimes is also quite technical for non-techie and beginner.
So my friend Rick Nguyen and His partner developed this WordPress plugin that is very easy to use. I tested it on one of my live websites and transfer it to another server. The process is very easy and smooth compared to other plugins I use before.
The interface also simple and not much selection, so making it very straight forward. You can see it from my review.
What do I like about WP Easy Clone?
1. Very Easy to Use compare to other WP Backup Plugin.
2. Easy Interface, Newbie and Non-Techie can also do it.
3. Include Agency Right, That means you can provide migration service to your customer or backup service to them.
4. Can schedule Backup on Hourly, Daily, Weekly and Monthly Basic.
5. Can easily clone a website and sell it.
6. No yearly or Monthly Fees.
What don’t I like about WP Easy Clone?
1. The Backup copy only backup to hosting account. If the plugin is able to back up to other cloud storage such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Amazon S3, PCloud. That will be great.
2. Don’t have auto rewrite option, you may need to delete the backup once a while.
Summary:
If you already don’t have a backup or migration solution, this a good product to have. I prefer to have a few backup solutions running at the same time just in case one of the back-ups failed.
