How to Use Free Technology to Meet during COVID-19 Corona Virus Outbreaks.

With the Corona Virus or COVID-19 getting more and more serious, everyone is advised to stay at home to avoid getting infected by the Virus. How can we still conduct some of our Business and Social activities without physically meeting each other? 

Here is some free software with some minor limitations that you can use to conduct your meeting, gathering, or even training.

1. Zoom 

You can conduct your regular meeting, be it your office meeting, society meeting, training or even your usual social gathering here (just bring your own cup of tea or coffee). You can go to the Zoom website to download the software on your PC, Laptop, or Your Mobile Phone. Then share the meeting room id or link to the participants. The free plan comes with free 40 minutes Group Meeting and Unlimited 1 to 1 Meeting. If the 1st 40 minutes end, you can reopen the meeting again and ask the participant to join back again. If you have some budget, then you can purchase the pro version with no time restriction

2. Facebook 

You can conduct your training & public talk by just using your Mobile Phone and directly live from your handphone and start sharing your information. If you want it to be more private, you can ask your participant to join your closed Facebook Group or Even your Private Facebook group. If you are using your phone, one limitation is you can’t share your screen. You press live video on your Facebook apps then you are live to share your stuff. One additional Benefit of doing it on Facebook is that you have a recording of the Video on Facebook. Which you can later download it and edit it to build up your Training Video. 3. Streamyard

You can directly stream to Facebook and Youtube for Free. With Streamyard, you can share your screen and also invite up to 6 on-screen participants. The free plan enables you to use up to 20 hours per month with a small Streamyard Logo at the corner. If you are a heavy user or you want your branding, you can consider upgrading it.
